FLOWERS (2)

Hello everyone
I haven't been on for a while with having other commitments. This is my first for 2010.

I'm still using my digital painter to paint my cards even though it takes a lot more time -BUT the main thing is I'm still enjoying doing it and thats what a hobby is all about isn't it!

I got the idea for my first card from a Victorian tile I saw, the photo doesn't really show the scale of the decoupage which is a shame, but I was really satisfied with the end result.
Red Poppy

I wanted to be-able to to give this to a man or women, so I've included bronze effect panels ...
Pansies

I wanted to try and do decoupage and pyramage on the same card and came up with this.... Flowers in a vase

  2. Hello Sue.
Your choice of the Red Poppy is lovely, and I thought you should know it is not a Victorian tile, but it is my original design, created in 2005 that I sell at www.VerdantTileCo.com.
    You have good taste ;)
If I can ask for a note of provenance, perhaps: 'original tile design by contemporary artist Mary Philpott' would work well?
    thanks very much
    Mary
